Shackleford named president of the Pathway Board of Directors for Pathway Resource Center, Inc.

INDIANAPOLIS – State Representative Robin Shackleford (D-Indianapolis) today announced that she was elected president of the PATHWAY Board of Directors for Pathway Resource Center Inc. Shackleford has served on this board for several years as the vice president.

Pathway Resource Center Inc. is an Indianapolis organization dedicated to creating opportunities for under-served, at-risk youth and economically disadvantaged residents living on the Far Eastside of Indianapolis and the surrounding areas. They provide access to computer technology, affordable housing, educational opportunities and employment training to help the Indianapolis community.

“I couldn’t be more proud to be elected president of an organization that is doing such vital work for the Indianapolis community,” Shackleford said.

“This organization is doing crucial work to bridge economic and social barriers and I can't wait to see all of the great work we accomplish.”
