As a government organization, we use our social media accounts as well as our website to improve our transparency and provide a forum for open participation in the legislative process.
We currently maintain official accounts on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and YouTube. Our caucus welcomes your comments, both in support and opposition to the information we post on these platforms, and encourages comments that can lead to an open dialogue on issues important to our state.
The Indiana House Democratic Caucus reserves the right to remove and/or block posts, content and/or comments that contain: advertising for private or political purposes; harassment or defamation; pornographic content; encouragement of illegal activity; sharing of confidential, proprietary or otherwise restricted information; the posting of graphic or violent images; the use of obscene, offensive or profane language; comments or information that was “spammed” or repeatedly posted within a short period of time; or any discriminatory comments that target or disparage any ethnicity, race, age group, religion, gender, sexual orientation or disability status.
Our caucus does not endorse any opinions or statements expressed by others within social media channels. Actions such as likes, retweets, shares or follows do not act as an endorsement of the individual or organization.
