State Rep. Pack announces committee assignments for 2021 Legislative Session

News & Media

INDIANAPOLIS – State Representative Renee Pack (D-Indianapolis) today announced that she has been selected to serve on three committees during the 2021 Legislative Session.

The freshman member will serve as the ranking Democrat on the Veterans Affairs and Public Safety Committee and will be serving on two others: Family, Children and Human Affairs; and Commerce, Small Business and Economic Development.

“These committees are the perfect fit and opportunity for me, both as a legislator and a veteran,” Pack said.

“I am excited to bring my unique experiences as a parent and community liaison at the Metropolitan School District of Wayne Township and veteran of the United States Army to the Statehouse. As Indiana faces both a pandemic and racial justice movement during a budget year, I promise to work with my colleagues across the aisle to find equitable and fair solutions to some of the toughest problems we have faced as a state and nation. I look forward to making meaningful changes for the Westside of Indianapolis and the Hoosier State.”
