State Rep. Andrade announces committee assignments for 2021 Legislative Session

INDIANAPOLIS – State Representative Mike Andrade (D-Munster) today announced that he has been selected to serve on three committees during the 2021 legislative session.

The freshman member from Northwest Indiana will serve on the following committees: Veteran Affairs and Public Safety; Commerce, Small Business and Economic Development; and Employment, Labor and Pensions.

“As a freshman state legislator and business owner, I hope to bring a unique perspective to my committee assignments,” Andrade said. “Hoosiers and small businesses are struggling as the COVID-19 pandemic continues to affect the physical and economic health of our state. I am hoping to use my seat at the table to advocate for those who need it most, not only in Northwest Indiana but across the Hoosier State.”

The 2021 Legislative Session will begin on January 4.
