Shackleford receives House committee assignments
INDIANAPOLIS – State Representative Robin Shackleford (D-Indianapolis) today announced that she has been selected to serve on three committees during the 2021 Legislative Session.
Shackleford will be ranking Democrat on the Public Health Committee and will be serving on two other committees: Courts and Criminal Code; and Financial Institutions and Insurance.
“During the interim I helped put together recommendations from the Indiana Health Disparities Task Force and with my position on the Public Health Committee, I look forward to bringing those recommendations one step closer to being implemented on the state level,” Shackleford stated.
“This year has not been an easy one for anyone and I will use my positions to bring about positive change for Indiana. I have been pushing the IBLC justice reform agenda for months and my new role on the Courts and Criminal Code Committee will give me the ability to continue our push to make Indiana safer for all Hoosiers.”
