Representative Summers named to 2014 legislative interim study committees

STATEHOUSE – The following Democratic state representatives from Indianapolis have been named to study committees and commissions that will meet in the coming months:

STATE REP. JOHN BARTLETT, Indiana House District 95, will be a member of the Commission on Minority & Women’s Business Enterprises; Interim Study Committee on Elections; and the Interim Study Committee on Employment & Labor.

STATE REP. ED DELANEY, Indiana House District 86, will be on the Interim Study Committee on Courts & the Judiciary; the Interim Study Committee on Financial Institutions & Insurance; and the Interim Study Committee on Roads & Transportation.

STATE REP. DAN FORESTAL, Indiana House District 100, has been appointed to the Commission on Public Highway Private Enterprises; Indiana Homeland Security Foundation; Interim Study Committee on Pension Management Oversight; Interim Study Committee on Public Safety & Military Affairs; and the Interim Study Committee on Roads & Transportation.

STATE REP. CHRISTINA HALE, Indiana House District 87, will serve on the Indiana Career Council; Interim Study Committee on Commerce & Economic Development; and the Interim Study Committee on Energy, Utilities & Telecommunications.

STATE REP. KARLEE MACER, Indiana House District 92, will serve on the Indiana Veterans’ Affairs Commission; Interim Study Committee on Public Policy; and the Interim Study Committee on Public Safety & Military Affairs.

STATE REP. JUSTIN MOED, Indiana House District 97, will be a member of the Indiana White River State Park Development Commission; the Interim Study Committee on Financial Institutions & Insurance; and the Tourism Council.

STATE REP. GREGORY W. PORTER, Indiana House District 96, has been named as a member of the Commission on Business Personal Property & Business Taxation; Interim Study Committee on Fiscal Policy; and the State Fair Advisory Committee.

STATE REP. CHERRISH PRYOR, Indiana House District 94, will serve on the Interim Study Committee on Fiscal Policy; Interim Study Committee on Government; and the Interim Study Committee on Roads & Transportation.

STATE REP. ROBIN SHACKLEFORD, Indiana House District 98, has been appointed to the Community & Home Options to Institutional Care for the Elderly & Disabled Board; Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Holiday Commission; and the Interim Study Committee on Public Health, Behavioral Health & Human Services.

STATE REP. VANESSA SUMMERS, Indiana House District 99, was named as a member of the Interim Study Committee on Public Health, Behavioral Health & Human Services; Legislative Council; and the Legislative Council for Space Utilization Subcommittee.
