Pryor to serve on seven legislative interim committees

INDIANAPOLIS – State Rep. Cherrish Pryor (D-Indianapolis) has been appointed to seven legislative interim committees by Democratic House Leader Phil GiaQuinta (D-Fort Wayne).

Pryor, the Democratic Floor Leader, will serve on: the Legislative Council, Legislative Council Technology Oversight Subcommittee, 2023 National Conference of State Legislatures, Interim Study Committee on Fiscal Policy, the Indiana Women's Suffrage Centennial Commission, the Legislative Continuity Committee and the Housing Task Force.

“It's a great honor to be able to serve Hoosiers while we work to make positive change in the state of Indiana,” Pryor said.

“Through these appointments, such as the Indiana Women's Suffrage Centennial Commission, we will be acknowledging the great accomplishments of Hoosiers in the past, and on committees such as the Housing Task Force, I will continue to advocate for fairness and equity while working toward solutions to our current issues.”
