Pryor: It’s about time

INDIANAPOLIS – State Rep. Cherrish Pryor (D-Indianapolis) said Gov. Eric Holcomb's financial relief plan is a good first step for Hoosiers needing relief from record inflation:

“It's about time,” Pryor said. “While Gov. Holcomb's plan will provide relief for Hoosiers, more is needed. We have far too many residents who are struggling to make ends meet – from the cost of gas to sky-high property taxes to the high cost of groceries.

“I'm happy that the Republican supermajority is finally heeding the calls from our caucus to help Hoosiers, but this cannot be the end of the assistance. I'm looking forward to working with members of the legislature to continue to help our constituents recover financially.”
