Pack gives welcome address for the 10th annual Indiana military and veteran’s legislative day
INDIANAPOLIS – In celebration of the 10th Annual Indiana Military and Veteran's Legislative Day, State Rep. Renee Pack (D-Indianapolis) was selected to provide the welcome address at the Statehouse today. Co-sponsored by Rep. John Bartlett (D-Indianapolis) and Speaker of the House Todd Huston (R-Fishers), the event allows veterans from around the state to meet with legislators and discuss the policies that directly impact their lives.
“It's wonderful that we have this annual event that provides us with a tremendous opportunity to meet face to face with those who have served our state,” Pack said.
“I am honored to give the welcome address for this event celebrating the bravery of Hoosier Veterans,” Pack continued. “As both a veteran and policymaker, it is my duty to understand the needs of our veteran and military members and enact legislation that will promote equitable, healthy lives for those living in our community.”
