Macer leads Indiana House in honoring Hoosier long-term care professionals
INDIANAPOLIS – Representative Karlee Macer (D-Speedway) led Indiana House members today in honoring Hoosier long-term care professionals.
Hoosier long-term care professionals provide compassionate care for people with a chronic illness or disability. These caretakers are dedicated to improving Hoosiers’ health and providing them with pathways to recovery and affordable living, particularly in cases of elderly and mentally frail patients.
Certified Nursing Assistants Sierra Butler and Kim Park, and Qualified Medication Aide Jennifer Davis joined Macer today to be honored for their service to others.
Long-term care professionals are not only exceptional caretakers, they also introduce the highest quality control into various community-based facilities including home health and adult care facilities.
“These caretakers dedicate extensive hours to providing their patients with stability, a higher quality of life, and often lifelong relationships,” Macer said. “I am proud to honor these amazing professionals who act selflessly every day to improve the lives of vulnerable Hoosiers throughout the state.”
