Klinker honors local baseball team

State Rep. Sheila Klinker (D-Lafayette) met with members of the Lafayette Central Catholic baseball team in the Statehouse today to honor them with a House Resolution. The team was named the 2022 Class A Baseball Champions for the state with a 27-6 record. Klinker offered the following statement following the resolution presentation:

“High school athletics offer students so much more than just gaining athletic abilities. The emphasis on team work and perseverance will benefit these young men throughout the entirety of their lives. I'm glad we had a chance to recognize them for their amazing achievement here at the Statehouse, and I hope they know how proud members of District 27 are of them and all of their hard work.”
