Jackson invites constituents to town hall
State Rep. Carolyn Jackson (D-Hammond) will be hosting a town hall on Saturday, Feb. 3, from 1 to 2:30 CT p.m. at Whiting Library (1735 Oliver St). Joining Jackson as a co-host of this event is State Sen. Lonnie Randolph (D-East Chicago). Jackson will also give attendees an update on what she has been working on so far in the 2024 legislative session.
“I am excited to join my community and hear from my constituents on health care, taxes, transit and other legislative priorities I’m working on,” Jackson said. “This is a great opportunity for residents to weigh in on issues facing the community. I will be joined by Sen. Randolph to discuss how we can best represent the city of Hammond at the Statehouse. I hope that residents of House District 1 are able to participate in this event.”
