Indianapolis House Democrats receive committee assignments

INDIANAPOLIS – Here are the Indiana House committee assignments for Democrats representing the Indianapolis area:

State Rep. John Bartlett (D-Indianapolis) will be serving on three committees: Agriculture and Rural Development; Employment, Labor and Pensions; and Government and Regulatory Reform.

State Rep. Ed DeLaney (D-Indianapolis) will be serving on two committees: Ways and Means; and Education.

State Rep. Mitch Gore (D-Indianapolis) will be serving on three committees: Roads and Transportation; Veterans Affairs and Public Safety; and Local Government.

State Rep. Carey Hamilton (D-Indianapolis) will be serving on three committees: Family, Children and Human Affairs; Ways and Means; and Utilities, Energy and Telecommunications.

State Rep. Blake Johnson (D-Indianapolis) will be ranking Democrat on the Local Government Committee and will be serving on two other committees: Public Policy; and Roads and Transportation.

State Rep. Justin Moed (D-Indianapolis) will be ranking Democrat on the Public Policy Committee and will be serving on two other committees: Agriculture and Rural Development; and Local Government.

State Rep. Renee Pack (D-Indianapolis) will be ranking Democrat on the Veterans Affairs and Public Safety Committee and will be serving on two other committees: Family, Children and Human Affairs; and Commerce, Small Business and Economic Development.

State Rep. Gregory W. Porter (D-Indianapolis) will be ranking Democrat on the Ways and Means Committee and serving on two other committees: Financial Institutions and Insurance; and Public Health.

State Rep. Cherrish Pryor (D-Indianapolis) will be serving on three committees: Ways and Means; Utilities, Energy and Telecommunications; and Elections and Apportionment.

State Rep. Robin Shackleford (D-Indianapolis) will be ranking Democrat on the Public Health Committee and will be serving on two other committees: Courts and Criminal Code; and Financial Institutions and Insurance.

State Rep. Vanessa Summers (D-Indianapolis) will be ranking Democrat on the Family, Children and Human Affairs Committee and serving on one other committee: Public Policy.
