Indiana House Democrats call for summer study of virtual schools

A group of Indiana House Democrats are calling on the state Legislative Council to assign issues surrounding virtual charter schools to a summer study committee expected to meet on August 22.

The letter, addressed to House Speaker Brian Bosma, was signed by State Reps. Ed. Delaney (D-Indianapolis), Sheila Klinker (D-Lafayette), Tonya Pfaff (D-Terre Haute), and Vernon G. Smith (D-Gary); all four are Democrats who serve on the House Education Committee during legislative session.
