GiaQuinta appointed to Interim Study Committees

INDIANAPOLIS — State Rep. Phil GiaQuinta (D-Fort Wayne), District 80, has been appointed to legislative study committees that will meet during the coming months.

GiaQuinta will serve on the Interim Study Committee on Elections and the Interim Study Committee on Public Policy.

The Interim Study Committee on Elections will review a variety of election-related issues, while the Interim Study Committee on Public Policy will consider the rewriting of Title 7.1 of the Indiana Code and the three-tier, alcohol distribution system in Indiana. In addition, the Public Policy Study Committee will explore the regulation and taxation of paid fantasy sports as well as the interception of past due taxes and child support owed by paid fantasy sports games players.
