Fleming to conduct community meeting in Jeffersonville on Saturday, Feb. 29

INDIANAPOLIS – State Rep. Rita Fleming (D-Jeffersonville) will conduct a community meeting in her district on Saturday (Feb. 29) to provide a review of issues being discussed at the Statehouse and to share the results of her 2020 Legislative Survey.

The meeting is scheduled to run from 9:30 a.m. to 11 a.m. Saturday at the Jeffersonville Public Library, located at 211 E. Court Ave., Jeffersonville [get a map].

“We’re halfway through session and that means it’s the perfect time to give the community an update on the work House Democrats have been doing to ensure that we’re serving Hoosiers first,” Fleming said.

“It’s also a good opportunity to connect with the folks in my district,” she continued. “If a person has a concern about something happening locally, this meeting will provide an opportunity to speak out. I’m looking forward to seeing the good people of Jeffersonville and empowering them to remain educated on what’s happening here at the Statehouse.”
