Campbell expresses disappointment in BMV closure

INDIANAPOLIS – State Rep. Chris Campbell (D-West Lafayette) today issued the following statement regarding the closure of one of the two Bureau of Motor Vehicles (BMV) license branches in her district:

“Closing down the BMV license branch on Navajo Street is a loss that will have frustrating consequences for my constituents. As the seventh-fastest growing county in the state, Tippecanoe Co. is also the largest county in Indiana with just a single BMV branch. For our residents – which includes an ever-growing number of Purdue University students – this creates an added barrier for driving and voting needs.”
