Beck hosts successful second small business e-commerce training session

INDIANAPOLIS - State Rep. Lisa Beck (D-Lakes of the Four Seasons) co-hosted her second Small Business E-Commerce Training Session on Wednesday, October 16, 2019.

“Hosting this type of event gives our small business owners in Northwest Indiana the tools they need to help their business grow,” said Beck. 

“I’ve received a lot of positive feedback from the small business community about this type of event,” she continued. 

“I plan to keep hosting small business events like this because I want all of our entrepreneurs to have the chance to sharpen their skills and grow their business in new and creative ways.”

During the training, the owners of Truly Tea discussed how they took a business idea as IUN students from start to success. IUN Professor Dr. Azemi broke down how retailers can use concepts like BOPIS (buy online, pickup in store) to improve sales. And Rocky Davis of Computer Solutions discussed best practices for internet safety..
