“Safety PIN” legislation helps address Indiana’s infant mortality issues

INDIANAPOLIS – State Rep. Sheila Klinker (D-Lafayette) is a member of the Family, Children & Human Affairs Committee, which met this morning to hear testimony on House Bill 1004, an infant mortality grant bill known as “Safety P.I.N.”

The bill has very strong bipartisan support and was endorsed unanimously by committee members.

House Bill 1004 now moves to the House floor for legislative action by the full membership of the House.
