Rep. Sue Errington co-hosting healthcare enrollment event

STATEHOUSE – State Rep. Sue Errington (D-Muncie) and Open Door Health Services will hold a healthcare enrollment and benefit fair at the Open Door Health Services office, 333 S. Madison St., Muncie, this Saturday (March 29) from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.

“March 31 is the deadline for enrollment in a health insurance plan,” said Errington. “If individuals do not have insurance by the beginning of April, they face a possible penalty. The enrollment event will make the whole process less confusing. We will have enrollment specialists, Medicaid liaisons, and government officials there to answer questions about Affordable Healthcare Act plans, Medicaid and the Healthy Indiana Plan.

“If you do not have health insurance yet, please plan on attending this event.”

Errington said she will be at the event from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Community partners involved in creating the event are Rep. Errington, Covering Kids and Families of Indiana, Open Door Health Services, and the State Health Insurance Assistance Program.
