Pack urges Judy to provide public with answers following alleged connection with Oath Keepers
INDIANAPOLIS – In response to State Rep. Chris Judy (R-Fort Wayne) being listed as one of the 23 Indiana elected officials, first responders, military or law enforcement members with alleged connections to the Oath Keepers, State Rep. Renee Pack (D-Indianapolis) is urging Judy to provide the public with transparency regarding the reported affiliation.
“Representative Judy is my fellow military veteran, and I admire his dedication in serving this country,” Pack said. “However, Hoosiers deserve transparency regarding these worrying allegations about his past or current affiliation with an extremist group.
“The title of ‘state legislator’ comes with a commitment to serving your state and constituents with integrity, honesty and respect for all. Even more so, as a veteran, we swore an oath to support and defend the Constitution of the United States against all enemies, both foreign and domestic. Any association with a group as violent and anti-government as the Oath Keepers would give any patriot pause, especially after the attacks on our nation’s Capitol on January 6th.
“The silence since the allegations is deafening. I hope to God these rumors are not true about my colleague, but only Judy has the ability to set the record straight.”
