Pack celebrates reelection, prioritizes education goals for legislative session
INDIANAPOLIS – After winning reelection in House District 92 with 56 percent of the vote, State Representative Renee Pack (D-Indianapolis) issued the following statement:
“I am honored to have been selected once again to represent Indianapolis’ west side,” said Pack. “I remain steadfast in my commitment to serving my state and caucus and will keep that promise as we enter the next legislative session. I am looking forward to investing in policies that will advance our state’s education system, including promoting equity and inclusion in schools and the community.”
Pack is a veteran of the United States Army, having served from 1986 through 1991. She is trained as a behavioral specialist and was certified in drug and alcohol counseling. She was first elected to the office on Nov. 4, 2020.
Pack is the ranking Democratic member of the Veterans Affairs and Public Safety Committee. She also serves on the Commerce, Small Business and Economic Development Committee and the Family, Children and Human Affairs Committee.
The 123rd General Assembly will convene for the ceremonial start of session on Nov. 22, otherwise known as Organization Day.
