Open Enrollment Health Insurance Event Scheduled for Sat., Nov. 21

      Open Door Health Services and Meridian Health Services have once again partnered together to assist individuals who are still without health insurance or who wish to look at plans again this year due to the fact that some have lowered their premiums and there are new plans being offered.

Whether it be someone who will qualify for HIP 2.0 or the Federal Marketplace we will have navigators available on Saturday, November 21, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the High Street Methodist Church (219 S. High St.) in downtown Muncie [get a map]. This location is right across the street from the MITS bus station for those who might not have transportation.

We will have SHIP counselors available to answer Medicare questions, voter registration, and a tax specialist to answer those questions about penalties, etc.
