Officials Announce Marketplace Open Enrollment in Anderson
ANDERSON, Ind. — With open enrollment for the Health Insurance Marketplace underway, and polls showing the majority of uninsured Americans still do not know about the open enrollment running from now until Feb. 15, 2015, officials will announce enrollment opportunities for the Anderson area at a town hall Dec. 2.

WHY:The enrollment deadline to get coverage by Jan 1 is just around the corner, Dec 15. Additionally, Kaiser Health News reports that some 89 percent of uninsured Americans do not know that Health Insurance Marketplace open enrollment will begin Nov. 15, 2014 and run until Feb. 15, 2015. To help Anderson residents know about the resources available to them, officials will announce upcoming events and locations to get enrollment assistance.
