Moseley celebrates INDOT’s $1M investment in Portage

The Indiana Department of Transportation (INDOT) announced recently that the city of Portage will receive $1 million in Community Crossings Matching Grants for the spring of 2023. These funds can be used to build and improve infrastructure throughout the city.

State Rep. Chuck Moseley (D-Portage) released the following statement today regarding the funding:

“This grant is great news for Portage. These funds will ensure more of our roads are up-to-standard and that we have safe sidewalks for pedestrians and cyclists. The work that the city of Portage does with these funds will help us create jobs and hopefully bring more people to our great city. My sincerest thanks to INDOT for this grant, which will have tangible benefits for Portage for years to come.”
