Macer authors resolution to honor long term care professionals
INDIANAPOLIS – Indiana House and Senate members today joined Karlee Macer (D-Indianapolis) in approving a resolution that honors the work done by long term care professionals across the state.
These providers give long term care for the elderly, people with chronic illnesses or disabilities, and the mentally frail.
“Long term care professionals provide better quality of life and establish lifelong relationships with their patients,” Rep. Macer commented. “They have dedicated extensive hours and innovative solutions for vulnerable Hoosiers, and I am proud to have the chance to honor them.”
The resolution was co-authored by 36 representatives, including House Democratic Leader Terry Goodin (D-Austin) and House Speaker Brian Bosma (R-Indianapolis).
“Our long term care professionals help provide pathways to recovery and affordable living, and they deserve to be recognized for their dedication to and hard work with their patients,” Rep. Macer said.
