Leader GiaQuinta announces committee assignments for 123rd Indiana General Assembly
INDIANAPOLIS – Today, Indiana House Democratic Leader Phil GiaQuinta (D-Fort Wayne) announced his appointments to standing committees for the 123rd Indiana General Assembly:
“Democrats are united on a shared vision of a state and economy that puts Hoosiers first, and with these strong voices in House committees, we will be well-positioned and equipped to deliver on that commitment. Committees allow state representatives to dig deep into the issues that matter to hard-working Hoosier taxpayers. The work done during this time is often regarded as one of the most influential parts of the policy process. It’s my hope that Democratic lawmakers will bring the perspectives of both themselves and their districts to vital conversations happening in the House of Representatives. My colleagues and I plan to work closely with the committees’ leadership and members alike in service to the State of Indiana.”
