INDIANAPOLIS – The Indiana House Standing Committee on Family, Children & Human Affairs heard testimony today (Wed., Feb. 4) on House Bill (HB) 1007, which would increase funding for domestic violence prevention and treatment throughout Indiana.
Committee members—including State Rep. Sheila Klinker—voted in favor of the bill.
Since HB 1007 has a fiscal impact, it will next head to the House Ways & Means Committee. Klinker is also a member of that committee, which considers budgetary matters.
