House Democratic Leader Pelath mourns passing of former state representative Dale Sturtz

INDIANAPOLIS – Indiana House Democratic Leader Scott Pelath from Michigan City has issued the following statement on the passing of former State Representative W. Dale Sturtz from LaGrange:

“I was saddened to hear of the passing of my friend and colleague, former State Representative Dale Sturtz of LaGrange County.

“Dale was a brilliant public servant with a larger-than-life personality. He truly understood the struggles of everyday people back home in his district and across Indiana.

“It is a highlight of my time in elected office to have served alongside Dale. He was a cherished friend and colleague not only to me, but all members of the Indiana General Assembly who knew him.

“My thoughts and prayers go out to the Sturtz family as they mourn Dale’s loss.”
