Gore to hold public outreach hours
State Rep. Mitch Gore (D-Indianapolis) is inviting residents of House District 89 to attend his public listening hours this upcoming Tuesday, Dec. 19.
The full details are as follows:
- Location 1 (Eastside Indianapolis): Warren Branch Library (9701 E 21st St.)
- Time: 10 a.m. to 12 p.m.
Location 2 (Beech Grove): Silver Linings Coffeehouse (700 Main St, Beech Grove)
- Time: 1 p.m. to 3 p.m.
With the January start of the 2024 legislative session quickly approaching, Gore believes it essential to hear from his constituents about issues facing the community and the most pressing priorities for people in the district. Additionally, Rep. Gore will have information and resources about state services.
“Engaging in discussion about community issues with my neighbors is paramount to the work I do as their representative,” Gore said. “At the end of the day, the residents and business owners in House District 89 are my bosses, and their feedback and input drive the decisions I make in the legislature. From supporting a bill that brought much-needed road funding to our area, to authoring House Enrolled Act 1365 to get machine gun conversion devices off the street, everything I do in the legislature is in an effort to improve the lives of my constituents.
“Come talk to me and my team Tuesday morning on the Eastside of Indianapolis at the Warren Branch Library or Tuesday afternoon in Beech Grove at Silver Linings Coffeehouse. I look forward to any chance I have to meet with my neighbors in House District 89.”
