GiaQuinta statement on passing of State Sen. Jean Breaux

House Democratic Leader Phil GiaQuinta (D-Fort Wayne) released the following statement mourning State. Sen. Jean Breaux (D-Indianapolis):

“House Democrats and I are mourning the passing of State Sen. Jean Breaux, a fearless champion of Hoosiers in her home of Indianapolis and beyond. Sen. Breaux stood tall for reproductive freedom, better minority health outcomes, food security and more. The state of Indiana is undoubtedly better for her service, and we will miss her wisdom and insight at the legislature. I am sending my condolences to her mother Billie and all her other family and loved ones during this time of mourning.”
