Fleming to conduct town hall in Utica on Thursday (Jan. 31)
INDIANAPOLIS – State Rep. Rita Fleming (D-Jeffersonville) will conduct a meet-and-greet for area residents at 6 p.m. Thursday (January 31) in the Utica Community Building, located at 106 N. 4th Street.
“I want to give local folks an update on our work at the Indiana General Assembly,” Fleming said. “I also want to hear their thoughts about legislation currently being debated at the Statehouse.
“In addition, I am interested in talking to residents about the impact of last February’s flooding in Utica and how they are recovering,” she continued. “I also know that there are many people in the area who work for the Census Bureau and other federal government agencies, and I would like to hear from them about the impact of the recent shutdown on their lives.”
