INDIANAPOLIS – State Rep. Rita Fleming (D-Jeffersonville) will conduct a community meeting in Clarksville on Saturday (March 2).

The meeting will run from 10 a.m. to noon Saturday in the Clarksville Branch of the Jeffersonville Township Public Library, located at 1312 Eastern Blvd., Clarksville.

“We have reached the halfway point in the 2019 session of the Indiana General Assembly, and I would like to give area residents an update on such issues as the state budget, teacher pay, and the various health care initiatives that have been filed this session,” Fleming said.

“I also look forward to these meetings because they give me a chance to find out what issues interest the folks who live and work in this area,” she continued. “If a person has a concern about something happening locally, here is a chance to speak out. There has been an amazing response to the town meetings that have taken place so far this year, and I cannot wait to talk to the good people of Clarksville.”
