Beck to co-host Small Business Digital Media Session July 16 in Crown Point
INDIANAPOLIS – State Rep. Lisa Beck (D-Lakes of the Four Seasons) will co-host a free event from 7:30 to 10 a.m. (local time) Tuesday, July 16, in Crown Point to give area small business owners a chance to improve their digital marketing skills.
The event, to take place at the Purdue Technology Center, located at 9800 Connecticut Drive in Crown Point, is co-hosted by Lorri Feldt, regional director of the Northwest Indiana Small Business Development Center.
“Since small businesses are the backbone of our state’s economy, it is important to me that we offer as many opportunities as possible for their owners to thrive in a rapidly changing marketplace that extends beyond Indiana’s borders and throughout the world,” Beck said. “In Northwest Indiana, we have a number of experts in the field of digital media, and I want to give small business owners a chance to meet with these people and see how they can expand the scope of their work.”
Keynote speakers for the event are Mathew Barbur, co-founder of True Mtn. Social; Courtney Nicholson, founder and CEO of 219 Media Consulting; and Alan Myszkowski, owner and executive producer of Local 219, a digital media company.
