Beck hosting events for children at Crown Point & Hobart libraries

INDIANAPOLIS - Children entering 3rd grade and older are invited to join State. Rep. Lisa Beck (D-Lakes of the Four Seasons) as she leads demonstrations on how to make friendship bracelets at the Crown Point Community Library and the Hobart Branch of the Lake County Public Library.

Beck will be at the Crown Point Community Library, 122 North Main Street, Friday (June 21) at 2 p.m. local time. Parents can register for this event online here or by calling 219-663-0270.

Beck will be at the Hobart Branch of the Lake County Public Library, 100 Main Street, July 2 at 2 p.m. local time. Parents can register for this event online here or by calling 219-942-2243.  

“I’m looking forward to meeting the parents and kids who come make friendship bracelets with me,” Beck said. “It’s also a great opportunity to show parents and their kids the awesome educational resources and activities that our public libraries offer to kids of all ages over the summer months.”
