State Rep. Boy’s statement on Attorney General Hill

INDIANAPOLIS – State Representative Pat Boy (D-Michigan City) issued the following statement following the Indiana Supreme Court's Curtis Hill ruling:

“Yesterday’s ruling from the Indiana Supreme Court sends the clear message that it’s no longer business as usual when it comes to holding people accountable for criminal behavior, no matter how powerful the perpetrator may be. I commend Rep. Candelaria Reardon and the other women involved for their toughness, and for never wavering throughout the more than two years since they bravely came forward. Thanks to their grit and resolve, along with the Supreme Court finding ‘clear and convincing evidence’ of the attorney general’s crimes, today is a strong step forward for safer work environments and, I hope, an empowering time for victims everywhere who deserve to be heard.”
