State Rep. John L. Bartlett: Schedule a kitchen table conversation with me today

I have always believed those who serve in elected office should listen to everyone’s thoughts, suggestions and opinions. In representing the constituents of Indiana House District 95, it is more important than ever that you tell me what you feel is working in state government, what is not working and what can be improved.

Several years ago, I set up a series of Kitchen Table Conversations with local residents. I am interested in holding these informal chats again this year with small groups of 5 to 8 people to discuss the issues that are important in our community. Some of the best ideas for legislation have resulted from conversations right here in our district – at local restaurants, in the grocery store and, yes, around the kitchen table.
