Indiana’s Democratic legislative leaders and IBLC call for special session to address issues of justice, pandemic

INDIANAPOLIS—After their joint press conference on Tuesday, Senate Democratic Leader Tim Lanane (D-Anderson) and House Democratic Leader Phil GiaQuinta (D-Fort Wayne) sent a letter to Governor Holcomb explaining the Democrats' call for a special session in August.
The Democratic leaders and the Indiana Black Legislative Caucus are calling for a special session to address police reform, safe voting and COVID-19 economic relief.
