2013 Indiana House Democratic Page Program

Just fill out our online application if you would like to serve as a legislative page.

Sometimes the best way to learn about something is to look at it close–up.

That's what the Indiana House Page Program is all about: learning about how our laws are made by actually seeing the process firsthand. It's a fun experience you will remember fondly for a very long time.

Students who serve as pages are excused from school for the day that they are visiting Indiana's State Capitol.

The Indiana House Page Program is designed for participation by students who are at least 13 years of age and participants must secure their own transportation to the Statehouse in downtown Indianapolis.

Your paging experience will begin with a tour of Indiana's historic Statehouse, including the House Chamber, the Supreme Court, the governor's office and the Senate Chamber. Legislative pages get an excellent opportunity to get a behind–the–scenes look at the Indiana State Legislature.

Perhaps most importantly, you'll meet many of the important men and women who make Indiana's laws and who represent us in the Legislature.

On days when the Indiana General Assembly is in session, pages are permitted to observe the proceedings from the floor of the Indiana House of Representatives.

As a legislative page with the Indiana House of Representatives, you will have your picture taken with your representative and will meet with staff members throughout the state capitol building. A wide range of activities and opportunities are available to the young people who serve as legislative pages in the Indiana House of Representatives in Indianapolis.

Just fill out our online application if you would like to serve as a legislative page.
