Joining Macer will be officials from EmployIndy, the Indiana Department of Workforce Development (DWD), the city of Indianapolis, and United Steelworkers Local 1999.
“Through this event, I hope to give these men and women who have lost their jobs at Carrier and Rexnord a chance to find out what kinds of options are available for them as they begin the next phase of their lives,” Macer said.
Officials will talk about plans to help those who have lost their jobs and describe the various resources that are available to them.
