INDIANAPOLIS - Rules and entry information related to an essay competition sponsored by the Indiana Statehouse Tour Office in conjunction with Indiana Statehood Day are now available for download.
Please note that the entry deadline for this contest has been extended to Friday, Nov. 2.
The essay competition is for fourth-graders across Indiana. Winners of the "What Indiana Means to Me" essay competition will be honored at the State Day Celebration in the Statehouse on Tue., Dec. 11, from 12 noon to 1 p.m. EST.
A panel of judges will choose first-, second-, third-, and fourth-place winners. The winners—and their classmates—will be invited to participate in one of four concurring Dec. 11 ceremonies.
